COSTS AND FEES
     Your initial phone consultation with Krafchick Law Firm is free. If you have filled out, and submitted, one of the following questionnaires, we will peruse that form before or as we talk with you initially.
     Thereafter, our attorney rates are $400 for all time up to one hour for the first hour of consultation, and $400 per hour after that. After the initial free phone consultation, all phone and in-office consultations will be charged at the above rate, or for a negotiated fixed-fee or hourly rate. No fees will ever be charged to you without prior consent. If you have questions about our costs and fees structure, we will be glad to discuss these as part of your initial free phone consultation.
     In all personal injury cases we work on contingency. We also work on contingency in most cases in which a client has been denied long term disability benefits and seeks to obtain or reinstate these benefits. In any contingency contract, you as the client will be responsible for the costs of litigation, also known as forensic costs. These costs, to name a few, include expert fees, charges for obtaining records, copying, travel expenses, and long distance telephone charges. In some instances we are able to advance costs. This is determined on a case by case basis.
